Support for out-of-warranty instruments

Note: this policy applies to Polar hardware products only.

Polar Instruments’ policy for the support of purchased products after expiry of their warranty period is as follows:

We will endeavor to provide technical support and replacement parts for products for a period of 7 years after date of purchase, or 4 years after cease of manufacture (whichever occurs sooner).

Any product that has been out of production for 4 years or more is considered "not repairable".  
Spare parts for any product that has been out of production for 4 years or more will not generally be available.

Where a customer has a product which falls into the category of "not repairable" then we will offer to provide circuit diagrams and parts lists (where available) free of charge.

Circumstances outside Polar’s control may sometimes prevent us from meeting these targets. Therefore this statement should not be treated as a guarantee of supply.

The following products have been out of production for more than 4 years, and are now classified as non-repairable:
